Connected Business Operations
Illustrative solution concept, not a completed client case study. The challenge: a business can outgrow the collection of spreadsheets, messages and isolated applications used to coordinate everyday work. Status becomes difficult to verify, responsibility is unclear and the same information is entered repeatedly. The concept: a modular operations platform with shared records, role-specific workspaces, task ownership and agreed approval flows. Teams can see what is pending, what has changed and which action is needed next without each department maintaining a separate version of the truth. Engineering focus: clear data ownership, permission boundaries, consistent business rules, useful history and integration with the tools the organisation needs to retain. Modules should follow the real operating process rather than force every team into an identical workflow. The first delivery could target one high-friction process, with further modules introduced after the initial workflow has been evaluated in use.
